Alex Brandolini

ALEX BRANDOLINI joined R.N. Croft Financial Group Inc. in November 2013 as Research Associate and was promoted in July 2014 to the position of Associate Portfolio Manager. He has been in the industry for over eight years in various capacities, and brings with him a diverse background in investment consultation, relationship management, operational support, and equity research.

Alex is a member of the Croft Investment Committee and is responsible for assisting with investment decisions related to the firm’s pooled funds and segregated accounts. He is also the co-chair for the firm’s weekly Investment Strategy Sessions, which is responsible for equity research in support of Investment Committee decisions.

Prior to joining R.N. Croft Financial Group, Alex was an Operations Analyst with a major Canadian bank where he provided support to other portfolio managers by structuring asset mixes, monitoring accounts, and creating rebalancing instructions. He also held a position as Financial Advisor, providing financial planning services.

Alex is a CFA Charter holder, and holds two Bachelor of Science degrees as well. He has also participated in academic research endeavors, and recently placed as a finalist in an equity research contest at the University of Toronto.
