Burhan Gulzar

Burhan joined Croft Financial Group (CFG) as an Investment Analyst Intern in September 2024 and was subsequently promoted to Portfolio Administrator & Research Analyst in April 2025.
Burhan exemplifies collaboration by working closely with the Trade Desk, Portfolio Managers, and Custodian NBIN to coordinate daily trade execution and settlement, ensuring precision and operational efficiency. Additionally, he takes a proactive role in supporting the firm’s client onboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for new relationships.

As moderator of the Investment Review Committee, Burhan regularly contributes strategic insights on investment recommendations, focusing on risk re-balancing and long-term alpha generation opportunities.

Burhan is a candidate for the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 3 examination for 2025, reflecting his active commitment to continuous learning. Burhan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with major in Accounting and Finance from MIT-WPU, India.

When Burhan isn’t immersed in researching investment opportunities or executing trades, he can be found exploring the Great White North during the summer months or unwinding at home, taking in the excitement of Formula One Grand Prix. He finds his sense of calm and tranquility in the simple pleasure of sipping his cup of chai (not chai tea).
